Apart from providing civil servants from the administrative systems in the Western Balkans region with the opportunity to transfer knowhow and experiences amongst themselves, all of the activities organised by ReSPA also constitute a valuable occasion for these civil servants to meet each other as well as their counterparts and other experts from EU Member States. In this sense, whether one attends a ReSPA training activity, conference or networking event, participants can gain more important knowledge not only on specific matters related to public administration, but also of the similar challenges and modi operandi of their peers in the region. The first ReSPA training activity took place in cooperation with the Civil Servants Agency in Skopje in November 2006, and since then a large number of different events have taken place, both during Phase 1 and Phase 2.
