Course on International Protocol

Danilovgrad (MNE) 28-30/Mar/2011

Background

In today’s fiercely competitive international arena, protocol represents a set of tools for effective and successful communication.

The new millennium has brought about a growing importance of international communication, creating the demand for individuals who are independent, creative, sophisticated and educated. They must possess experience of foreign cultures, protocol, etiquette and styles – the communication skills that represent the essential credentials for government officials to communicate effectively in public life.

A multicultural arena requires a professional image and the ability to make the most of every personal encounter. Embarrassing and costly blunders are occurring more frequently in the business and diplomatic world.  Protocol in that context represents a critical success factor for anyone’s career – the ability to make others feel comfortable and respected.
