In view of the SAA process in which the ReSPA members are involved the principles of good governance are an important element of meeting the requirements for assessment. With regards to fighting corruption, impartial service delivery etc. the development of standards for integrity are of vital importance. In the training the focus is to provide the participants awareness, specific knowledge and tools on: -
The importance of accountability for public interest and principles of good governance; -
To understand the importance of setting clear ethical standards and developing a code of conduct; -
To understand the role of the private sector and the civil society in the formulation of Ethical standards; -
To get acquainted with the appropriate techniques to deal with acts of corruption; -
Understand the tools and monitoring methods to ensure transparency; -
Participants know how to use and transfer the information and techniques acquired in the training in their own practice. |
