22 July 2025 Online 10:00-11:30 am (CET) Thematic Workshops

As part of ReSPA’s ongoing efforts to support digital transformation and public administration reform in the Western Balkans, ReSPA organises the webinar designed to strengthen understanding of Artificial Intelligence competences and their strategic relevance for the public sector.

In view of ReSPA’s proactive partnerships with international organisations and universities, the strategic importance of digital transformation as a key policy area, and the strong interest expressed in further capacity-building and learning opportunities, ReSPA, together with UNESCO and Oxford University, continues to support efforts to strengthen digital governance across the Western Balkans. As part of this ongoing collaboration, we are pleased to invite you to the upcoming webinar on AI in Public Administration – AI Competences and Best Practices of Using AI in the Western Balkans, taking place on 22 July 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00, which will explore AI competencies and best practices in the region.

By the end of this session, participants will explore the strategic relevance of AI in public administration, assess challenges and opportunities for its adoption, and identify key competencies needed across various roles. The session will also introduce capacity-building tools such as Oxford’s new MOOC, facilitate the exchange of best practices from the Western Balkans, and foster regional dialogue on institutional readiness, reskilling, and collaboration for responsible AI use.

The session will encourage interactive learning, knowledge sharing, and peer engagement, laying the groundwork for future capacity-building initiatives and collaboration across the region.
