Strengthening Institutional Capacities for EU Integration in Bosnia and Herzegovina via On-Demand Support
On 5–6 May in Sarajevo, ReSPA strengthened institutional capacities of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, to support the EU integration process. A workshop brought together members of the Working Group for EU Integration, including representatives from the Prime Minister’s Office, federal ministries, and other institutions, to strategize and effectively plan for the upcoming accession negotiations.
The workshop included an in-depth analysis of administrative structures essential to EU integration and led to the development of an actionable plan aimed at strengthening these capacities.
The discussions—led by Adnan Tatar and his team from the Office of European Integration, together with ReSPA expert Aleksandar Andrija Pejovic—had focused on improving planning processes, enhancing federal coordination, ensuring timely fulfillment of EU requirements, implementing capacity-building and staff retention policies, and developing mechanisms for monitoring and reporting related to EU integration.
ReSPA remain committed to offering tailored, on-demand support to its Members, addressing their specific needs and advancing their EU accession progress.
