Impact and Evaluation
The ‘Ireland 4 EU Enlargement’ programme’s impact will be measured through a combination of data and personal stories, providing a comprehensive view of its effectiveness. This includes surveys, practical exercises, and in-depth conversations to capture both immediate feedback and long-term results.
Between January and February 2026, the impact of Cohort 1 will be reviewed, and preparations for Cohort 2 will begin. This process will assess participant learning, gather feedback from all stakeholders, and evaluate institutional benefits. A reflection webinar will bring participants together to share experiences, lessons learned, and recommendations. Simultaneously, consultations with new participants will help tailor the programme to meet their needs.
Evaluation follows a four-level model:
- Level 1: Immediate reactions collected through feedback forms after each activity (managed by ReSPA);
- Level 2: Learning and knowledge acquisition, assessed via workshop outcomes and technical sessions;
- Level 3: Behavioural changes, monitored through participants’ reflection journals and facilitator observations;
- Level 4: Broader organisational impact, measured during a dedicated final impact day focused on next steps for sustained EU readiness.
