ReSPA Contributed to the Public Administration Week in Albania

Contributing to the Celebration of the in Public Administration Week in Albania, ReSPA continues to support Albania's public administration reform efforts.

Main highlights:

  • The new initiative to train 600 public servants on the practical use of Artificial Intelligence was introduced and discussed as a crucial step towards empowering civil servants with future-ready digital skills.
  • We also joined the inspiring “You are an asset” ceremony where policymakers, experts, and civil servants gathered to discuss key legal frameworks shaping the administration and to celebrate the dedication and achievements of 12 outstanding public employees.
  • We explored the exhibition “A Walk-Through Public Administration History: Milestones and Movements,” engaging in meaningful discussions on the evolution of public administration and its future directions.

ReSPA is honoured to train over 200 public servants annually, supporting their professional growth and EU readiness and awarded more than 30 scholarships to Albanian public servants for prestigious executive trainings in leading EU schools and institutes.

Moreover, ReSPA has contributed significantly to Albania's PAR Strategy by diversifying approaches and providing direct technical assistance in regulatory impact assessment, policy consultations, and institutional performance enhancement.

Highlighting Albania's progress, ReSPA showcased the "AI tool for acquis transposition" to regional administrations, serving as a model for innovative governance solutions.

ReSPA extends its gratitude to Minister Adea Pirdeni and the Department of Public Administration (DAP) for the invitation and reaffirms its commitment to supporting Albania and the Western Balkans in strengthening governance, accelerating digital transformation, and preparing for EU membership.
