On 18 September 2025, ReSPA contributed to the High-Level Seminar “Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation Experience in the context of the Recovery and Resilience Facility and the Reform and Growth Facility” held in Tirana.

ReSPA Programme Coordinator, Genti Xhaxhiu, joined the panel on Reform Delivery and Governance, emphasising the pivotal role of strong public administrations in driving accelerated EU integration and ensuring the successful implementation of performance-based instruments such as the Reform and Growth Facility (RGF).

“It is essential that Western Balkans administrations further enhance their gradual integration into EU public administration reform-related networks and instruments, such as TSI, PACE, EUPAN, and the PAR Expert Group. ReSPA has consistently supported this process and will continue to do so, ensuring that our administrations not only strengthen reform delivery and governance in the region but also become fully prepared to operate as equal peers with EU Member States,” stressed Xhaxhiu.

The seminar also featured valuable contributions from distinguished panellist,s including H.E. Silvio Gonzato, EU Ambassador to Albania; Judit Rózsa, SG REFORM, European Commission; Eridana Çano, State Agency for Strategic Programming and Aid Coordination (SASPAC); and Giorgio Zecca, European Commission, among others.
