ReSPA Supports the Fourth Cycle of Generic Trainings for Administrative Officers in North Macedonia, Reinforcing Regional Cooperation and Capacity Development
26 November 2025, Bitola, North Macedonia
ReSPA supported the fourth cycle of Generic Training for Administrative Officers, contributing to the Ministry’s continuous efforts to strengthen the capacities of North Macedonia’s public administration. This cycle gathered 50+ civil servants eager to enhance their competencies and apply modern approaches in public sector work.
As part of ReSPA’s ongoing commitment to fostering professional development and regional cooperation, Boris Ristović, ReSPA Programme Manager, delivered a session within the Module 3: Project Management under the series of generic training titled “Investing in Civil Servants is an Investment in the Public Sector.”
His presentation highlighted the crucial role that project-based approaches play in reinforcing institutional performance, improving service delivery, and enabling stronger cooperation across the Western Balkans.
Ristović emphasised that well-structured project management practices are essential for public institutions aiming to adapt to transformative processes, achieve strategic objectives, and participate effectively in regional and EU-oriented initiatives. He shared practical tools, methodologies, and examples directly applicable to the daily work of administrative officers, underlining the value of systematic planning and cross-institutional collaboration.
ReSPA’s involvement in this training cycle reflects its long-standing dedication to supporting the Ministry of Information Society and Administration and the wider public administration of North Macedonia. Through capacity-building activities, technical assistance, and regional networking, ReSPA continues to empower civil servants to embrace innovation, strengthen their competencies, and contribute to a more efficient, accountable, and future-ready public sector.
This fourth cycle once again demonstrated that investing in administrative officers means investing in the future of the public administration. ReSPA remains committed to accompanying North Macedonia on this path of continuous improvement, cooperation, and shared progress across the region.
