ReSPA Budget Committee Reviews Financial Performance and Plans for 2027–2028

ReSPA’s 54th Budget Committee Meeting was held on 3–4 September 2026 in Perast, Montenegro, bringing together Budget Committee members from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Montenegro and Serbia, alongside representatives of the ReSPA Secretariat.

The meeting focused on ReSPA’s Comprehensive Interim Financial Statements and the implementation of the Core Budget for the first half of 2026. The Committee reviewed the reported Core Budget expenditure rate of 36.19% and considered the interim financial reports for recommendation to the ReSPA Governing Board.

Members also discussed the draft ReSPA Budget for 2027–2028 and the proposed National Envelope for 2027. The Secretariat reported that all ReSPA Members had paid their 2026 contributions to the Core Budget and presented an update on the organisation’s liquidity and cash management.

The Committee was additionally informed about the implementation of the EC Grant IPA III/2025/488-773, the procurement plan for the remainder of 2026 and progress under ReSPA’s cooperation projects with the Italian, Irish and French partners, as well as the RADAR and AI4Gov-X initiatives.

The meeting concluded with a discussion on upcoming activities and the scheduling of the next Budget Committee meeting.
