ReSPA is launching the event ReSPA Open Days “Advancing EU Enlargement: Reform, Readiness and Regional Cooperation”, which will take place on 2 June 2026 in Chișinău, Moldova.

The programme is designed to provide partners from the Eastern Neighbourhood region with a practical presentation of ReSPA’s work, featuring testimonials from civil servants from the Western Balkans, including representatives of ReSPA governing structures, participants in ReSPA training programmes, and ReSPA partners. Participants will have the opportunity to gain a comprehensive understanding of the EU accession path, its links with key areas of Public Administration Reform, and the importance of strong public administration capacities throughout the accession process and after EU membership.

Through testimonials from practitioners who have benefited from ReSPA activities over the past 15 years, new beneficiaries from Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine will learn about the instruments available through ReSPA, illustrated through concrete examples and peer experience from the Western Balkans. The programme will conclude with interactive discussions among participants, aimed at mapping and identifying priorities in each ReSPA thematic area and supporting the development of long-lasting networks among public servants from the two regions.

The event is intended for civil servants from the Western Balkans and from Armenia, Moldova and Ukraine working in the following thematic areas: Policy Management; Better Regulation and Simplification; European Integration and Accession Negotiations; Human Resources Management and Professional Development; Digital Transition and Quality Management; and Public Finance Management.
