Responsible AI, Regulatory Innovation, and Digital Public Service Transformation
As part of our continued support for innovation-driven digital transformation and public administration reform, the ReSPA is organising a regional event on Responsible AI, Regulatory Innovation, and Digital Public Service Transformation, to be held in Podgorica, Montenegro, on 25–26 May 2026.
The event will bring together policymakers, practitioners, and experts from the Western Balkans and Eastern Neighbourhood to explore how artificial intelligence (AI), regulatory sandboxes, and emerging technologies can be effectively applied to modernise public administration and improve service delivery.
This two-day event will serve as a policy-to-practice platform, with a particular focus on regulatory innovation and the use of AI regulatory sandboxes as tools to safely test, validate, and deploy innovative solutions in the public sector. It aims to support administrations in moving from innovation and experimentation towards concrete and scalable implementation, while ensuring trust, accountability, and compliance.
The event combines strategic dialogue, practical workshops, and peer exchange, with a strong emphasis on innovation, experimentation, and implementation, and it is shaped for the technical expert directly involved in the design, development, implementation, or management of digital solutions for public services, and senior public managers dealing with administrative procedure simplification.
