Guidelines to a Career in the EU: Training Programme for Future EU Professionals
As Montenegro advances on its path towards European Union membership, new opportunities are emerging for professionals interested in contributing to the work of EU institutions.
To support this process, ReSPA within the BRIDGEtoEU Programme, and in partnership with the Institut national du Service Public (INSP) and the Human Resources Management Authority (HRMA), is organizing a two-day training programme entitled “Guidelines to a Career in the EU”.
The programme is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of career opportunities within EU institutions and the recruitment procedures managed by the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO). Through expert-led sessions and practical exercises, participants will gain valuable insights into EU recruitment pathways, learn how to prepare effectively for EPSO competitions, and develop the competencies required to succeed in future selection procedures.
Participants will:
✔ Explore career opportunities within EU institutions;
✔ Gain a clear understanding of EPSO selection procedures and assessment methods;
✔ Learn practical strategies for preparing applications and competitions;
✔ Develop key reasoning, analytical, and interview skills required for EU careers;
✔ Receive guidance from experienced trainers specializing in European affairs and EU recruitment.
The training will be delivered by Laurence Elert, Head of the EU Knowledge Preparation Center at INSP, and Astrid Chassé, expert trainer in European affairs and preparation for EU competitions and careers.
